Updates:

Well, I'm completely out of everything in the SHOP, but I should have some copies of Jeff Ellis' new CD, "Covering the Distance" very soon.  Skip Cromer also has some copies of the BRDME CD as well, so contact him if you need one.

I will probably have a few extra of the KTB shirts if anyone is interested, email me to see what sizes I have.  There will probably be a couple available at Cat's Back Records in Nitro (304-755-0107), so if you're down that way, check there too.

Jeff Ellis's newest CDs "A Front Seat For The End Of The World" and "Gospel Sessions Volume 1" are now available in the shop.

I finally got the Mind Garage releases added as well, so head on over to the SHOP and spend some of that hard-earned cash.

9.16.07

Jeff Ellis' most recent release, the "All Masters Must Serve" EP is now listed in the Discography.  Unfortunately I don't have any to offer in the shop at this time.  Jeff has been playing quite a few shows lately, so support local music and go out and pick one up from him.  Jeff is currently scouting his finished full-length "A Front Seat to the End of the World" to record labels.  Hopefully somebody will pick it up and give it some major distribution, as it's a kick ass CD that really needs some attention!

The MIND GARAGE limited CD compilation of their 2 studio LPs from '69 and '70 has been added to the discography page.  The CD is first available at the GOODSTOCK music festival, and remainders will likely make their way to the shop.

The Burt Reynolds Death Metal Experiment finally has a CD!

"The Definitive Collection Volume II" will be available beginning December 8th at the Unknown Hinson show at The Empty Glass.

It Features nine maddening tracks that showcase the Demented Genius of BRDME!  T-shirts will also be availble.  The items will move to the shop section of this site following the show.  Come out and support Burt!

Hey Hey!

We got a new one for ya!

June 10th was the release for the Stone Ka-Tet CD.  It was given away to everyone who paid to get thru the door at the Empty Glass for the release party.  Unfortunately, we gave all of the limited edition versions of them away...

We should, however have some more available very soon!

I've also teamed up with Salem Frost Games to design and produce boxes for his ATARI 2600 games.  Yes, I said Atari 2600.  Check out his catalog!  If you like Horror movies, and Old-School gaming, then you'll be diggin' on this...

Also, some kind fella added our ass to the Wikipedia.  It was on my list of things to do...

If you read the Charleston Gazette or visit the online entertainment section, The Gazz, you might have noticed I participated in the music feature "Listen Hear".  It covers a wide variety of music interests and covers topics such as where people learn about music and where they buy their music, as well as a focus on the local music scene in the Charleston area in general.  I'm quoted several times throughout the 4 day feature.  If you're interested, check them out!

I've done some updating!

I fixed the shop for David White.  There were issues with the cart...

There is a link on the Jeff Ellis shop page for a couple of shirts that are available thru CafePress.  The "Painting" shirt has quickly become a favorite!

I added a Frauenfeld shop page to the shirts available thru Cafepress...  If you don't know, Frauenfeld is a side project featuring members of Carrie Crash and Jeff Ellis.  They never released a proper CD, but their tracks appeared on a couple of compilations from Future Destination Records.  Some of the songs were performed at Jeff's shows in July, and the response was overwhelming!  Not quite Carrie Crash, and not quite Jeff Ellis, it's a great rockin' combo.  There are plans to have a new CD available by the end of the year.  Pick up the "Amp" shirt to be extra cool!  Visit the Frauenfeld site at Myspace!

There are still some of the Byzantine 2000-2001 Cds left.  These have been selling well since I put them up a little over a month ago.  The band is completely sold out and this CD will not be repressed, so don't miss your chance to own this piece of history!  Already a collector's item!

Also, for those of you interested in promoting any of the current Byzantine shows, there are posters available for download HERE.  They are available in Color, B/W and 1/4 sheet hand-out sizes.  They're coming soon to a town near you!

Hopefully I can get some of the info pages here updates soon....I've been slacking!

Nothing final yet, but I may have my hand in something completely non-music...Retro-Gaming anyone?

2.17.06

I'm in the process of reformatting some of the pages, so if you encounter any incorrect links or issues with the shop, please bear with me.  I'm hoping to have everything done in the next couple of weeks or so.

The Demo Sessions Cds by Jeff Ellis are no longer available.  You missed your chance!

12.31.05

We got .com!  You can now reach this site with www.caustic-eye.com

Jeff Ellis' 'The Enemy' is back in stock!  It makes a wonderful Christmas gift!  As a matter of fact, any Caustic Eye releases available in the SHOP make great gifts!  Byzantine's 2000-2001 Demos Cd is still available.  These are the last copies!  If you miss out on these now, it's likely that they will never be available again!

Just a few copies of the Jeff Ellis Demo Sessions CDs left.  This set won't be available ever again!  Don't wait to email me in January to see if I have any left.  You will have missed out!  The dedicated page is still up for ordering HERE.

David White's Cds 'A Different Approach' and 'Urbanite' make great gifts for the Jazz lover in your family!

By purchasing Cds available in the SHOP, you are supporting local music and artists.  That's what Caustic Eye is all about!

11.30.05

Byzantine's first CD, the 2000-2001 demos disc has been added to the shop.  I found a stash of these in the basement and split them with the band.  If you are planning to attend the New Year's Eve show at the Sound Factory, please buy one from the band.  If you can't attend the show, then head on over to the SHOP and pick one up!  The New Year's show will be a show not to miss, with Byzantine playing TWO sets!  The first set will be older material (i.e. the demos) that hasn't been played out for a while, or ever!  The second set will be newer material that doesn't get played live that often, with the possibility of some never before performed live songs showing up as well.  There will be some other goodies exclusive to this show, so attend if at all possible!

OJ's Schecter C-1 Blackjack is up on Ebay.  This guitar was used during the recording of "...and They Shall Take Up Serpents."  If you want a piece of Metal history, put your bids in today!

Just a few copies of Jeff Ellis' acoustic masterpieces, Demo Sessions Vols. 1 & 2 left.  Unless you prefer to be left out of the loop, go to THIS PAGE and get a set!

CDs have been sent to the local stations with selected tracks from the Demo Sessions discs, so call up Rock 105, 94.5, and X106.3 and request Jeff!

Until Next Time...

11.22.05

For those of you looking for some special gifts for those BYZANTINE fans in your life, head on over to the SHOP for some SUPER RARE posters, some even with AUTOGRAPHS - Including CID'S!  From the old days!

Once these items are gone, THEY'RE GONE! This is leftover stuff I have from the BYZ days!  BYZANTINE will be receiving money from these sales, just so you know!  We want them to have a good Christmas too!

Just a few sets of the JEFF ELLIS Demos Discs Left, Buy them here! They won't be available for much longer!

Also added David White's CDs 'A Different Approach' and 'Urbanite' to the SHOP.  If you can dig on some smooth grooves, check them out!  For Jazz Lovers!

Stay Tuned!  I'm still digging through boxes!  It's hard to tell what I might find!

Keep Checking Back!

11.14.05

The Jeff Ellis CDs are still selling well, and we are getting VERY CLOSE to being sold out.  Make sure to pick up a set, as they won't be around for long.

I've added a history page with info on everything I've done up to this point, and how I've gotten here.  The discography page layout has been adjusted slightly, including the addition of track listings for the releases.  Other pages will be updated in the near future, with song samples so check back!

Jeff has added some of the new tracks to the music player on his site, so drop by to sample the CDs.

I'm in the process of sorting boxes, so I should have some rarities and old show posters available in the shop before Christmas.  Start saving now so you don't miss out!

11.06.05

The response to the Jeff Ellis Demo CDs has been fantastic!  We do however, still have some copies left.  If you don't want to miss out on this great music by this talented WV songwriter, Go HERE and order them now!  Check out the review for the CDs at Tone and Groove!  Jen Grover does an excellent job of describing these Limited Edition pieces of art.  If you're not familiar with him, check out Jeff's Site for some more information on his work and his band Guinness Clarke's Wine.  There are still some copies of his CD 'The Enemy' as well as the GCW material available HERE, as well as a shirt available HERE.  While you're here, leave us a message at the GUESTBOOK and let us know if you love us or hate us!

Rod 11.01.05

I've also added a photos page of some of the pics I've taken.  There are some Jeff Ellis pics from his last two appearances before he left for Iraq and some Byzantine pics from a year ago in Morgantown.  More will be added as I find them...
